Youth Ministry

"Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them; for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven." -Matthew 19:14

All 6th through 12th grade youth are invited to take part in Church activities in several ways.

They are invited to be part of our Youth Club which meets every Sunday (September through April) from 6pm until 8pm at the Church. Youth Club includes times of reflection, fun and refreshments.

On Sundays youth are welcome to participate in either the 8:30 am or the 10:30am services. At the 10:30am service there is a time provided for Christian education held in the 3rd floor youth classroom.

Throughout the year, with the help of coordinator Billie Carpenter, the youth plan and conduct a series of fundraising events to help support their activities. Those activities include serving food at the Homeless Assistance Center in downtown Miami, annual trips each spring and fall, participartion in the UCC's Florida Conference Youth Ministry schedule, and more.

Our youth and their friends are always welcome and such an important part of the regular ongoing fellowship events and activities of the Church. Such events as the spring picnic, fellowship dinners, Christmas and Easter functions simply wouldn't be as rich without them.
