Good Samaritan Food Pantry

The Church by the Sea's Good Samaritan Food Pantry is a local mission outreach to help those in the community that are struggling to purchase adequate amounts of food. It was founded in 1985 by Emily Schoenberg who was the President of the Women's Society. Emily felt that no one who came to the Church by the Sea for assistance should leave empty-handed. Members and friends of the Church contribute regularly to the Food Pantry with money, time, and, of course, food. Currently we distribute food with a hot meal served on the third Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm in Fellowship Hall.

"Blessed are those that hunger and thirst."
