Rev. Robert W. Asinger
Senior Minister
The Rev. Robert W. Asinger was called as the third Senior Minister in the Church by the Sea’s 65 year history. Rev. Rob is a graduate of the Divinity School at Harvard University and has served churches in the greater Boston area before being called to the Church by the Sea in January of 2010.

Rev. Barbara A. Asinger
Associate Minister
Prior to Rev. Asinger's call to the Church by the Sea, she worked as the Chaplain at Lasell College, Tufts University and Newbury College in the Boston area. While acting as a chaplain, Rev. Asinger lectured in the area of ethics and social studies. She also served as the Associate Minister at the West Medford Congregational Church and the Norwell United Church of Christ. Prior to her ordination, she worked in the area of human service, serving the homeless, rape victims and battered women.
