Rev. Robert W. Asinger
Senior Minister
The Reverend Robert W. Asinger was called as the third Senior Minister in the Church by the Sea’s 65 year history. Rev. Asinger is a graduate of the Divinity School at Harvard University and has served churches in the greater Boston area before being called to the Church by the Sea in January of 2010.
Rev. Dr. Priscilla Felisky Whitehead
Associate Minister
The Reverend Priscilla Felisky Whitehead is an Associate Minister who came to the Church by the Sea in the fall of 1989.
Reverend Whitehead shares in general pastoral duties with particular attention to adult education and spirituality. Active in many local, national and international social service and interfaith efforts, Priscilla is a graduate of the Divinity School at Harvard University and the mother of two adult children.

Kent Morgan
Director of Music
Kent joined the Church By The Sea as Director of Music in 2005. He is also Director of Music of The Delray Beach Chorale in Palm Beach County, a community ensemble which performs major choral masterworks with orchestra. A North Carolina native, Kent and his wife, Carolyn, the organist of Church By The Sea, came to Florida from New York City when Kent became Assistant Manager of the Ft. Lauderdale Symphony in the years leading to its evolution into the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra. In New York City, Kent worked as a concert auditor with the New York State Council on the Arts, as an administrator with Calliope, A Renaissance Band, and was tenor soloist at St. James Episcopal Church and First Presbyterian Church. He was selected for a National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship for Arts Managers.
Carolyn S. Morgan
Organist
A native of North Carolina, Carolyn has held organist positions in churches in South Florida, New York City, and Newport, RI. Soon after the publication of newly discovered Chorale Preludes by J. S. Bach, in the Neumeister Collection of manuscripts at Yale University, she participated in the Florida premier of these works.
She currently maintains a private piano studio in Ft. Lauderdale and serves as rehearsal pianist for the Delray Beach Chorale. While living in New York City and teaching at Wells College, she performed a program of American duet music in a debut recital at Carnegie Recital Hall. She is also winner of the NC Symphony Concerto Auditions and toured with that orchestra in a series of five performances. Her music degrees are from St. Andrews Presbyterian College, Laurinburg, NC and Peabody Conservatory, Baltimore, MD.
She has served on staff of the Church by the Sea since 2002, where she offers her ministry of music in worship services, weddings, funerals, special performances and other events in the life of the Congregation.
